On December 28, the main factory building of CATL GAC Power Battery Co., Ltd. was fully roofed, marking the phased achievement of strategic layout of core components and parts of new energy automobile industry chain of GAC Group.

The project will have a total capacity of 15 GWH, and be constructed in two phases. Phase 1 of the project of 10 GWH will be firstly put into operation in October 2021, and the total capacity of 15 GWH will be gradually achieved as per market demands upon the construction of Phase 2 before December 2023.
