On June 1, GAC Group donated 250,000 disposable surgical masks, 10,000 KN95 masks and 2,000 boxes of drinking water through Guangzhou Charity Association, making its due contribution to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. On the same day, 60 members of GAC’s task force rushed to the front line to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since a confirmed case of COVID-19 in Liwan District was notified on May 21, Liwan District, Haizhu District, Yuexiu District, Tianhe District, Baiyun District and Panyu District have strengthened prevention and control on the front line to ensure the health and safety of the public, and all front-line areas are in urgent need of various kinds of pandemic prevention supplies. In order to fulfill its corporate social responsibility and show the great love of the society and the sense of responsibility of state-owned enterprises, GAC Group actively responded and cooperated with the government to provide urgent supplies to all districts in Guangzhou and organized donations immediately.
