On March 25, Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and the People's Government of Guangdong Province held the provincial scientific and technological innovation conference, at which advanced entities and individuals winning the science and technology award of Guangdong Province in 2019 were commended. The project of "Independent R&D and Industrialization of Grade-A Pure Electric Vehicle Key Technology" (the “Project”) of GAC Group honorably won the first prize of the award for scientific and technological advancement!

Under the Project, the high-performance and high-quality new-generation Grade-A pure electric vehicle has been produced, and a series of independent intellectual property rights, including 144 patent applications, 2 software copyrights and 12 papers, have been formed. By developing the new-generation pure electric exclusive platform GEP, the Project has made comprehensive breakthroughs in battery, electric driver and electric control system technologies, and have captured a batch of key and core technologies of intelligent temperature control of power batteries and the comprehensive security, energy conservation and consumption reduction and light weight of pure electric vehicles and so on.
