According to the CCTV News dated March 20, 2020, Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council made a video call with the work groups of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council making researches of work and production resumption in Guangdong Province and Henan Province that day. Premier Li Keqiang repeatedly urged the work groups to attach importance to enterprises' concerns and help them solve difficulties.

Luo Wen, leader of the Guangdong group and deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission, and Zeng Qinghong, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of GAC Group, made a video call with the premier.

Zeng Qinghong introduced work and production resumption conditions, difficulties and redemptive measures of GAC Group. He expressed: GAC Group has over 100,000 employees and 190 investment enterprises now; work and production resumption rate, capacity recovery rate and the resumption rate of major projects in Guangdong Province reach 99%, 70% and 100% respectively. At present, the largest two difficulties are as below: firstly, inadequate components and parts are supplied in Hubei Province; secondly, automobile market environment is severe. We hope that policies promoting automobile consumption can be implemented further. Next, GAC Group will take different measures such as overtime work, strengthen scientific and technical innovation, optimize products, and boost sales, in order to try to accomplish annual production plans.
